On Testimony Thursday Today Nadine "Na" Richard is sharing how God's Love Endures Forever.
"As I was celebrating my 10th years anniversary with the company that I currently work for, I couldn’t stop contemplating the goodness of the Lord. I just couldn't stop thinking about where I was to where he has brought me.
I love these verses from Psalm 118:1-3, “Give thanks to the Lord for he is good: because His love endures forever” Let Israel say "His love endures forever". Let the House of Aaron say: "His love endures forever". I would replace Aaron’s name in verse three and say: Let the house Nadine say: His love endures forever.
11 years ago I moved back to Miami from Tampa, I was looking for a job with a bachelor degree in my hand, and I couldn’t find anything. I was laid off from a great company that I thought was promising ,and I felt secured with them. I applied to many places, but no one was calling me. I was even willing to work for minimum wage.
My cup went dried. My finance was in life support. So, I decided to move to a different state, but before I did, I decided to earnestly seek the Lord about the issue even when I wasn’t serving him faithfully for about a week. After that experience, the Lord started to open door for me in the work field. I started working for one company as a temporary worker; they hired to a full-time worker. From there, the current company that I work for now took over management 10 years ago. God has been moving up the ladder with me and granting me favors in that job in spite of all my mistake and errors.
As I was reminiscing about everything that I’ve done that could have cost me my job in these past 10 years, I realized that God’s hand was upon me and kept me there. It isn’t my skills that moved me up the ladder, it is God. It isn’t my eloquent speech that make me sit among great men and women, it is God. It is not my intelligence that has given me the capacity to solve some of the toughest issues at work, it is God. It isn’t my wisdom that keep me out of trouble, it is God. Now instead of me running after job, people are asking me if I would like to come to work for them. I found myself interviewing manager for a job that they want to give me. It is All God. I have come to realized that when God bless, it is sealed forever because He is a faithful God. No power of hell can take it away. I also looked at this experience as rainbow of promise that God will never fail me regardless how the situation in my life may look like. If He didn’t fail me then, there is no way he will fail me now. He is a loving Father who is awaiting for His children to come running into His arms whenever and pour our hearts out to him. Thank you Daddy for your unfailing love that is endured forever and ever. Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever…..Let the house of Nadine say: “His love endures forever”".
